URGENT DISCLAIMER! This is not a trivial installation and should only be for advanced users and users with patience. The AZL SW1000/SW1500 shell removal process is the most technically challenging portion of the installation. Damage can occur to the shell. Please be aware that spare shells and spare parts from AZL are not readily available. Purchases of this Zmodell board do not shield you from any sort of damage that can occur to your AZL locomotive. In removing the shell and removing the stock circuit board, you also void your AZL warranty.

Notes from Zmodell: Please be careful during disassembly and also during installation of the digital decoder. One very important point to consider: SW locomotive is very light and small. And its wheelsets are fitted with rubber traction tires. This means very high requirements for cleanliness of the track and wheelsets. To achieve the best driving performance, please keep them always as clean as possible. Digital decoder supports both digital and analog modes. Please never apply anything higher than 12 Volts in both modes.
